Message form SIAP President elect, Mr. Bijan Armandpour:

To All Members,

 

It was a pleasure to feel the enthusiasm and energy offered by our members in order to elevate our organization to new levels. I am glad to serve as president in the year 2007 and am looking forward to having every member to take part in our activities.

 

For this purpose, I am proposing the following program:

 

 

1.                   Organization

1.1.             Re-establish the Research, Education, Event and Membership/ Marketing  Committees.

1.2.             The president to nominate four of the Board Directors other than Treasurer, each to be the responsible body for each of the above Committees. The four Directors will have the option to delegate the required tasks by using other directors, SIAP members and or other third party subject to Board approval.

1.3.             The four nominated Directors will report their activities/ results to the president on a monthly schedule. The president will have the authority to approve or deny the results. This will generate an enthusiastic and speedy operation.

1.4.             The president shall be informed of the need for funds for the above activities and shall endeavor for the need through Siap reserve and or donations from SIAP members or Sponsors.

 

2.                   Committees

2.1.              Research and Event Committees shall conduct at least 8 presentations through their collaboration.

2.2.             Education Committee shall conduct programs to provide members with license requirements and other architectural trainings.

2.3.             Membership/ Marketing Committee shall 1) update the members complete information, 2) redesign/ update the web site, 3) provide yearly printed publication reflecting the members architectural work, 4) advertise/ publish Siap activities.
