Meeting Date: July 7, 2010

The following is the Minutes of SIAP Board of Directors

Meeting No. 10

Location: Colorado Community Room

Members present:

Saviz (Sam) Azadi

Mahshid Ehteshami

Pari Ghaemian

Shahram Shokoufandeh               

Abdi Ziai

Old items:

1- In reference to item number 4 and 5 in meeting 20100527, Sam has entered all the received fees and income in an excel format.

New Iems:

1- As of this month the meetings are video recorded.

2- Tonight’s agenda is what each committee is going to do in the next 6 months.

3- Mahshid on behalf of Event committee reported the programs scheduled for the month of July.  A chart showing the scheduled programs up to the end of the year shall be sent to all board members.

4- The Education Committee is going to schedule a presentation most likely in the month of August.

5- Pari on behalf of the Education Committee is trying to arrange a presentation for Revit.

6- In the next 6 months each committee has to give their event program to Mahshid

7- Abdi on behalf of the website committee has informed Ms. Alavi about all the SIAP concerns and now he has to submit the proposal with $1000.00 check to start.  Ms Alavi shall submit invoices while the work is proceeding.  Sam or David the treasurers will write the checks to be paid.

8- Sam wrote and signed a check for Ms. Alavi and gave to Abdi to be paid as first installment.

9- Website committee shall have a progress update general meeting.

10- The intent of the website is to provide new Architectural information weekly or by monthly.

11- Abdi suggested that the committees communicate to each other through SIAP website.

12- Shahram reported that as soon as Bijan Armandpour is back from his trip, will activate the outreach committee.

13- Pari stated that to activate the participation in the competition we have to find members that are committed to work for free and in case this committee is awarded the prize will be distributed among participants.

14- Shahram stated that he is going to be awarded a green project and intends to assign it to the Green committee.
