2008 SIAP Election

SIAP Board of Directors 2008 Election were held on February 21, 2008, 7:00 PM at Colorado Community Room, 2500 Broadway St., Santa Monica, CA 90404.  SIAP Board of Directors Candidates were:

1- Abdolreza Ziai ( VP position )
2- Mir Hashem Modjarrab ( VP position )
3- Behnam Jafari
4- Pooya Payan
5- David Forouzesh
6- Pooya Goudarzi
7- Iraj Yamin Esfandiary

After Mr. Armandpoor's planning for Nowruz party, Mr. Esfandiary gave some detail information about the event in Skirball Center and then each candidate introduced themselves and their plans.

Due to the shortage of time, SIAP will held a general assembly meeting on April 24 to vote for new amendments in SIAP bylaws and clear some confusion about reading some of bylaws item that need to be cleared once and forever.

This is to acknowledge and certify that the following list represent the true revised classes among SIAP members as well as Election Result in 2008:

Mr. Bijan Armandpour will retire after serving two years as VP and President.  Mr.  Majid Falamaki will serve as President for 2008 and Mrs. Rosy Shokofandeh will retire from her service as treasurer for two year.  New Board of Directors will choose one among themselves as new treasurer serving for 2 years.  Mr. Falamaki the new SIAP president will hold the first SIAP board meeting on February 28, 2008.
